Tucked away in Mōʻiliʻili, The Early School offers children a rich, hands-on emergent curriculum. Not only do they have one of the largest shaded outdoor preschool play areas in Honolulu, The Early School emphasizes real-world experiences, long-term projects and investigations, and outdoor play. At the core of their curriculum is a research-backed emphasis on building social and emotional intelligence and confidence.
This school is vital to the community. However, as a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, donations and gifts provide the rich, personalized classroom environment, funds for vital operations, special school events, and the tuition assistance many families need.
On Saturday, March 8th we'll be donating pops to The Early School's annual fundraiser. It is a wonderful cause and we are always down to keep volunteers cool and fresh! If you are also passionate about education and giving back to the community please consider making a tax-deductible donation to this important educational resource at theearlyschool.org/get-involved
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning.
But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood”
- Fred Rogers
