Honoring the Past, Sharing A Sweet Moment at Pearl Harbor’s 80th Commemoration

Honoring the Past, Sharing A Sweet Moment at Pearl Harbor’s 80th Commemoration

Aug 08, 2025

This Labor Day weekend, we are humbled to join the community in honoring the 80th Commemoration of the End of WWII.

From Saturday, August 30 to Tuesday, September 2, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and Battleship Missouri Memorial will host a four-day tribute on Ford Island to remember the day peace returned to the world. On September 2, 1945, aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, the Second World War officially came to an end — a moment that brought relief, hope, and the promise of a better future.

We are proud to support this event by serving our freshies — freshly made artisan pops crafted with locally sourced ingredients — during select public events at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.

🍧 A Taste of Hawai‘i, Made Fresh for the Occasion

While guests enjoy live music, family activities, and historic exhibits, they can cool down with flavors inspired by Hawai‘i’s vibrant farms and orchards. Every pop is made with care, honoring the spirit of community and resilience that this commemoration represents.

📍 Where You’ll Find Us

We’ll be on-site during the Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31 events at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum — including the outdoor concerts featuring the Mākaha Sons and Lt. Dan Band, as well as family-friendly aviation adventures.

This weekend is more than a gathering — it’s a chance to honor the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the Greatest Generation. We look forward to sharing a moment of refreshment with you as we remember those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.
